    About Jim & Allan

At the heart of Food Forest Abundance is visionary founder, Jim Gale, whose dedication resilient living and freedom has given rise to this transformative movement. Inspired by the enduring principles of permaculture, Jim has dedicated his life to showcase how to create a supporting and abundant ecosystem that supports him, his family and his community, while taking care of each other, the Earth and re investing the surplus to taking care of people and the Earth.
Allan is originally from Uruguay where he grew up going to his grandparents farm working with cows, sheep and horses. Most of the work was done riding on horses.

He currently live in San JosΓ©, Costa Rica with my wife, 3 kids, our dog and a small but fun food forest.
He practices permaculture design and education for and with the local youth and community and also for and the greater community online.

Permaculture is both their passion since I believe it provides a toolkit to navigate through life in a way that is connected and aligned with nature making our existence more fulfilling and resilient.
